Financial markets
The financial markets industry has faced quite some challenges and adversity in the past few years. Increasing regulation, the need to become more transparent, digitalisation and distrust between financial institutions are just a few examples of current hot topics. And then there are of course the many integration and separation activities taking place between the various market players.
Double Effect is operating in the core of large banks; the dealing rooms and related departments such as Middle Office, Operations and Treasury. We are experts in connecting, expanding and improving the entire trade life cycle. We run projects that may vary from improving efficiency with new IT systems, to setting up new desks for private banking or derivatives trading, to separating processes, departments and systems bought by other financial institutions.
The market is continuously changing, leading to stricter rules and regulations for financial institutions worldwide. We incorporate the impact of regulations, such as MiFiD, Basel, Dodd-Frank and EMIR, in our analyses and operating models.
Since our start-up in 2003, Double Effect has proven itself at various large and medium sized financial instituions in the Dutch market, within the domain of international financial markets. Our consultants have developed themselves as experts within financial markets over the past years. Setting up, structuring and implementing complex change projects in the dynamic environment of financial markets requires vast knowledge of the business and excellent project management skills. Double Effect consultants have gathered and applied this knowledge and experience successfully. This is also supported by continuous product and process training.
